Dr. Paul Setlak

Dr. Paul Setlak is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Al-Ghaf Dynamics, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He is a healthcare leader, strategist, clinician, and innovator with more than two decades of international experience, the majority of which has been spent in the Middle East, followed by experience in the United States, Europe, and Latin America.

Dr. Setlak earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Midwestern University, completed postgraduate residency training with a focus on Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management from Loyola University Chicago.

Throughout his career, Dr. Setlak has received extensive training and developed deep expertise and practical experience in clinical research across complex therapeutic areas (e.g., oncology, critical care, immunology, and infectious diseases), emergency preparedness and response, public health strategy, and digital technologies along with advanced data.

He has served as a clinician, professor, and researcher, and has held global leadership roles within top-10 pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies. His operational leadership in emergency preparedness and response also led to the successful launch of his first start-up in that sector.

With more than twenty years of multidisciplinary experience, Dr. Setlak focuses on integrating strategy, innovation, and operational execution to develop impactful healthcare, public health, emergency response, and digital solutions that advance health systems and improve outcomes across the Middle East.

Dr. Hussam I. Kutbi

Dr. Hussam Kutbi is the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of Al-Ghaf Dynamics. Dr. Kutbi graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from King Abdulaziz University and completed his residency training in Ambulatory Care and Medication Therapy Management residencies and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the University of Arizona Healthcare System in Tucson, Arizona, United States of America.

Since then, he worked as a clinical pharmacist and a professor of Pharmacy Practice and held many leadership positions in the fields of training, learning and development, human resources and finance in large institutions in Saudi Arabia.

Nearing two decades of rich experience, Dr. Kutbi focuses on strategy development, establishing new services, investment and financial sustainability, providing innovative solutions, and pragmatic take on projects from planning to execution and evaluation.

Dr. Abdelhamid Dessouky

Dr. Abdelhamid Dessouky is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Al-Ghaf Dynamics. He is a senior healthcare strategist and marketing leader with more than 20 years of experience across multinational pharmaceutical and healthcare organizations in the Middle East and Africa. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on business strategy, combining deep clinical understanding with strong commercial and strategic expertise in healthcare markets.

Throughout his career, Dr. Dessouky has led regional initiatives spanning market access, healthcare commercialization, strategic marketing, brand development, and healthcare ecosystem engagement across diverse healthcare systems in the region.

Dr. Dessouky brings extensive experience in translating complex healthcare market dynamics into actionable growth strategies for pharmaceutical and healthcare organizations, supporting successful market entry, portfolio expansion, patient access strategies, and sustainable commercialization. His work has involved close collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders, including healthcare providers, regulatory authorities, payers, industry partners, and institutional leaders.

At Al-Ghaf Dynamics, Dr. Dessouky contributes strategic insight to support healthcare organizations navigating the region's evolving healthcare landscape. His work focuses on helping organizations strengthen market positioning, healthcare market access strategies, commercialization models, and regional growth strategies aligned with the priorities of healthcare systems across the Middle East.

Dr. Marwa El Kordy

Dr. Marwa El Kordy is the Chief Digital Health Engagement Officer (CDHEO) of Al-Ghaf Dynamics. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Cairo University and brings more than 13 years of experience in digital marketing, CRM, customer engagement, and digital transformation across the healthcare, nutrition, pharmaceutical, and consumer health sectors.

Throughout her career, Dr. Marwa has led regional and local initiatives across the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) and Australia, driving digital transformation, omnichannel engagement, marketing automation, customer experience enhancement, and healthcare professional and consumer engagement programs.

Dr. Marwa also holds qualifications in nutrition, total quality management, leadership, critical thinking, adult nutrition, and infant nutrition, and is currently pursuing an MBA in Technology and Digital Strategy at the University of Sydney.

With extensive expertise in digital health engagement and customer-centric innovation, Dr. Marwa is passionate about leveraging technology, data, and strategic communications to create meaningful healthcare experiences and sustainable business growth. At Al-Ghaf Dynamics, she leads the development of innovative digital health engagement solutions that strengthen stakeholder relationships, improve customer outcomes, and deliver measurable impact across healthcare ecosystems.
